Magdalena Mountain Jam

... took place this past Saturday night at the Golden Spur Saloon in Magdalena, New Mexico.

Hard rock and roll with Rob Lopez and his merry band of musicians, 7216 ft. high up in the thin, crisp air of the Magdalena Mountains, where they played underneath the genuine trophy deer and antelope heads mounted on the walls.

I'm not sure it gets any more Rock & Roll then that.

The Gates at Tech

A typically beautiful New Mexico dawn at the main gates of New Mexico Tech University welcomes students back for the spring semester. Registration is Monday (1/17/11), classes begin on Tuesday.

Here's a jazzy overview of the offerings and activities on the NMT campus.

Good luck and much success to all new and returning students.

In The Round

Lemitar, New Mexico.

The entranceway to the new Midway School is uniquely striking in it's round, silo-like design. I've also found that it provides for some very uniquely striking photo opportunities.
